“ Walked in to this cafe just for brunch ! Very accomodating people ! Ordered cold pressed juice and also coffee. Both nice but coffee was awesome very nice and smooth. Ordered poke don and porridge unbelievable experience both dishes well balanced flavour full and well presented. They also have little biscuits for your dog . Will definitely go back again. Price point: reasonably priced ”
“ Noticed Merrymen when nearby for appointment and it was packed out the front and thought must go. And today, 20.3.22 we went and I can see why the place is so popular, the food is delicious!! I had avocado chunks (at least 1/2 avocado) on toast (swapped sourdough for multigrain) and husband had eggs on toast (scrambled which seemed more than the standard 2 eggs) with a side of bacon. We both had coffee (decaf soy latte and flat white) which were also really good and appreciated the mugs they were served in, no scolding hot glass at Merrymen. I also enjoyed a glass of sparkling, Fresco Frizzante, which I was unfamiliar with but the very friendly waitperson gave me a little sample to try. Thank you, great service! And I loved the stemless flute it came in. The meals came out quick (less than 10 minutes) and I would go again as interested to try the vegetarian breakfast burrito which, to my delight does not contain egg, unlike every other place that serves them. Merrymen is very popular and caters for everyone, singles, couples (young and not so young) and families. Great location near the beach and around the corner from Hampton Street. 12.8.24 came for brunch, husband had scrambled eggs while I had lovely bean burrito. We also had coffees (flat white and soy latte). Food and service good but I'm not "beach" I'm more "alternative" so do feel out of place. ”

“ Miso mushroom toast, golden latte, beet juice, and tea were really good and highly recommended. The Japanese pancakes and breakfast burritos are ok. Not a huge fan of the spicy egg. It was too oily but it’s personal preference. The indoor and outdoor space is airy and filled with light. There’s wifi and it is cyclist friendly! $40 pp ”
“ We had a lovely brunch here yesterday. So many options on the menu, it was a difficult choice. I ended up going with the smoked salmon crumpet and Stacey had the mushrooms. Both plates looked delicious and thankfully tasted the same ”
